IT PEACE OF MIND
What Our Managed IT For Startups Includes
We’re a small business ourselves, so we take a personalised approach to each start-up. We can provide any or all of the following:
A professional email system using Microsoft 365. Email can be accessed from your desktop, laptop, tablet or Apple/Android smart phone.
Anything sent or received on one device will be instantly updated on all devices.
If you have multiple employees then you can set up mailbox sharing, email forwarding, shared mailboxes and more.
Going away? Use the Out of Office functionality to send an automatic reply to emails and even temporarily forward your emails to a colleague.
Domain Name & Website
If you do not currently own your own internet domain name, we can help you choose and register one. This will then be used for your email address – e.g. joe@companyname.co.uk rather than companyname@gmail.com – far more professional!
Your domain name will also be used for your website. We can help with setting up a website for you – either a simple single page site, or a professionally designed business website.
Backups
Backups are crucial to your business. We will recommend the basic minimum you should have in place to ensure you are protected against file corruption, accidental or deliberate deletion – and recommend more advanced systems where they make sense.
Once set up, a good backup system will also give you the ability to roll back a document to how it looked a few days, weeks or months ago.
Laptop / Desktop / Printer Provision & Setup
We can supply, install and support all of your office IT equipment including laptops, desktops, networking, Wi-Fi, printers and scanners. If we provide it then you can be assured it is good quality, fit for purpose and our problem if it doesn’t work out of the box.
Server / NAS Drive / Network Provision & Setup
If your organisation needs a server in order to run particular applications then we can supply, install and support whatever you need. We partner with Dell to provide enterprise solutions at a competitive price.
Ongoing Support
A support contract with Ounsworth IT automatically makes us your IT support department. The contract provides unlimited technical support to overcome faults with any part of your IT system and provides service level agreements which set out the minimum response times depending on the severity of the problem.
We will also check your backups daily and with the installation of our remote monitoring system we can monitor your devices 24/7 for any impending faults or issues – as well as ensure your devices are kept up to date with all critical operating system updates.
Having a support contract also gives you discounts on labour rates for IT projects, new computer setups, site visits etc. If you know you will need site visits or our help with IT projects then we can bundle in an amount of site time for the year and spread the cost over 12 months. This can provide vital cashflow help in the startup phase of your company – when you need it the most.
NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE
Proactive IT Support
When we talk about IT Support, we don’t just mean we’re on hand to respond to IT problems.
We constantly strive to ensure that your IT systems are functioning and being looked after in the best way possible.
As well as covering the ‘must haves’, we always make an effort to understand your business and advise accordingly on best practices, recommended new software and hardware, and inform of any current threats to your business.

Frequently Asked Questions
It varies depending on your business venture, but we suggest as a minimum you will need:
- A reliable, secure laptop and/or desktop computer. We highly recommend Dell and can often supply for the same or a lower price than that listed on Dell’s website.
- Your own domain name (e.g. example.com), which gives your company a unique identity and provides a more professional image than using Gmail or Hotmail as your company email address. We can provide domain names from £16.99 per year.
- Microsoft 365 Standard which will give you the latest Microsoft Office software on your computer together with business class email and document management systems all for one monthly price. You pay the same price for this as you would if you went directly to Microsoft.
- Daily backup of your Microsoft 365 data, to protect you against accidental or malicious deletion of your emails and/or documents.
We pride ourselves on our flexibility and ability to react quickly. Subject to certain conditions we can normally have your company domain and Microsoft 365 email system up and running within 1 full business day.
The labour to set up a basic cloud-based Microsoft 365 email system for up to 10 users and Remote Monitoring/Antivirus on up to 10 devices is free if you take out an IT support contract with us. Non contract customers should contact us for a no obligation individual quote on setting up your system.
Depending on the precise make and model we can usually source laptops and desktops on a next working day basis. The average lead time is between 3 – 7 working days.
Absolutely yes. Most small business IT systems are completely scalable from 1 to 200 or more users.
