Hello, I’m Adam – the face behind Ounsworth IT.

Your IT infrastructure is critical to the efficient and secure operation of your business and you need an IT provider you can rely on. In 2019, I set out to provide the genuinely personal IT support service that is so sought after, yet so elusive in today’s fast-paced environment.

Today our refreshingly different approach to IT support is appreciated by small businesses across Oxfordshire, from bio-tech, pharmaceutical and forensic science companies through to law firms, employment agencies and training consultancies. Most of our clients stay with us for years.

Larger support companies tend to have a higher churn of staff, increasing the likelihood that you will have to speak to someone new and spend valuable time explaining your situation. With us, it’s our job to know your systems inside and out. We take time to understand your business, so you don’t have to explain yourself on every call.

A Proactive Approach

When we talk about IT Support, we don’t just mean we’re on hand to respond to IT problems. We know what a trusted position we hold as an IT support provider and take a proactive approach to managing your IT, constantly striving to ensure that your IT systems are functioning and being looked after in the best way possible. As well as covering the ‘must haves’, we always make an effort to understand your business and advise accordingly on best practices, recommended new software and hardware, and inform of any current threats to your business.

Fair Contracts & Clear Pricing

IT costs can be confusing. Our contracts are clear and our pricing is fair – so no unexpected bills. We can even sanity check your IT expenditure with your current provider. If we think you’re being treated fairly, we will be honest and say so. If we believe you are being considerably overcharged, we will happily provide you with an honest, like for like quote. No pushy salesmen and no pressure.

Excellent Response Times

We never lose sight of what is expected of us as a support company and strive to treat our smaller clients exactly the same as our larger ones. The feedback we get, especially through recommendations, is that our response time is very good. Typically we respond within minutes rather than hours and generally always within SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) set out in your support contract.

More About Adam

Adam has been providing IT support directly to small businesses in the Oxfordshire area since 2009. His customer base has steadily grown to include many diverse companies including law firms, pharmaceutical companies, manufacturing, forensic science, training, employment and many bio-tech companies.

Prior to being self employed, a life long interest in computers sparked a career change away from the MOD into IT, where Adam gained a wide range of IT experience working for a computer manufacturer, the NHS, and then for a leading Oxford law firm.

Adam is married and has 2 children. Outside of work Adam has a passion for Formula 1, Go Karting, Flight Simulation (he’s currently building an Airbus A320 cockpit in the garage) and watching football.
