Your IT infrastructure is critical to the efficient and secure operation of your business.

You need an IT provider you can rely on – spending time chasing an unresponsive IT person is probably not on your list of objectives for this year. Our Managed IT Support contracts are designed to give you and your colleagues the ability to contact us during normal business hours to get help with anything that has gone wrong with your IT system – and lots more. Most of our clients stay with us for years.

“I have used Adam’s services for many years. He is everything I need in IT support: knowledgeable, very responsive, reliable, trustworthy, competitively priced, and excellent to work with. I have been so impressed with his services that I have contracted him for several companies I have worked with, including forensic science (where security on many levels was so important), a marketing consultancy, professional associations and financial services (again, where security and confidentiality were paramount). I know I can rely on him for advice, purchases and in any type of emergency!”

IT PEACE OF MIND

What Our Managed IT Support Includes

Our IT Support contracts are designed to give you and your colleagues the ability to contact us during normal business hours to get help with anything that has gone wrong with your IT system. But they cover much more than that…

Unlimited remote support

Unlimited phone and remote support sessions for your staff during business hours.

All monthly support contracts with Ounsworth detail the response time you can expect when reporting an IT issue. These vary depending on the issue severity; we use a three-tiered system to classify issues and determine priorities.

Your backups checked every day

We monitor your backups daily and look to remedy any issues that are stopping your backups from completing successfully.

If you don’t already have a backup solution in place, Ounsworth IT partner with a number of leading backup suppliers such as Datto, Acronis, Axcient and N-Able to provide a range of solutions. We can back up your servers, laptops, email, SharePoint, OneDrive to give you comprehensive cover.

Remote monitoring of laptops, desktops and servers*

We monitor your systems using industry leading Remote Management and Monitoring (RMM) tools which report back issues to us and give us the opportunity to addresses any issues before they become a problem.

*Requires RMM software to be installed on all devices.

Site or project time that is anticipated in the coming 12 months can be added to your monthly invoice and split over the 12-month period to minimise blips of large IT expenditure.

NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE

Proactive IT Support

When we talk about IT Support, we don’t just mean we’re on hand to respond to IT problems.

We constantly strive to ensure that your IT systems are functioning and being looked after in the best way possible.

As well as covering the ‘must haves’, we always make an effort to understand your business and advise accordingly on best practices, recommended new software and hardware, and inform of any current threats to your business.

Director, Ounsworth IT

“Since first meeting Adam 10 years ago I, and the various firms with which I’ve been involved, have totally relied on him for all our IT requirements. Whether it’s new sets of equipment, creating and managing complex IT networks and looking after the security which surrounds these, or simply sorting out urgent problems which might otherwise disrupt our business activities, Adam has always risen magnificently to the challenge. His flexible, timely and cost-effective services have kept our business(es) on the tracks to the extent that I wouldn’t dream of using anyone else for IT.“

“Adam has supported our firm for over 14 years and has been instrumental in its success. Whether it is pro-actively suggesting updates in technology or security measures, or just that calm voice at the end of the telephone when things have gone wrong! We have always felt as if he is an extension to the firm and nothing has ever been too much trouble for him. His calm and patient personality is absolutely perfect for those IT situations and he always gives you options and quick fixes, to tide you over until a permanent solution is available. I remember once calling him from Spain to say that my elderly laptop had finally died. By the time I arrived back in the UK he had ordered a new one, set it up and had it delivered to my home. Now that really is service.”

IN CASE YOU’RE WONDERING…

Frequently Asked Questions

The best way of describing managed IT support is that we take a genuine and frequent interest in the well being of your IT system rather than sitting back and simply responding to support calls.

Unfortunately, they may claim to do this, but the reality can be very different.  We have inherited IT systems looked after by larger IT support companies and found backups have been failing for months, no updates installed on servers and desktops for over a year and an IT system that just seemed abandoned.

We can look after most aspects of your IT system, including managing your domain names and ensuring they are renewed in time, keeping your DNS records up to date, ensuring you always have current software licenses for Office software and anti-virus.  We look after your license and domain renewals so you don’t have to.

IT support is defined as fixing an issue that was previously working. Support contracts do not provide training of users, setting up new IT hardware or software, setting up new members of staff on devices, making wholesale changes to the current IT system to suit business needs.  We can either bill for any of the items not covered in the support contract as and when they occur or we can agree a sensible amount of “Site Time” which can be used for anything that falls outside of the contract. The cost of the site time can be spread across the 12 month contract period.
